The Strauss Room is a queen room with ensuite bathroom.
It features French doors onto the verandahs and
has a delightful view of the beautiful Maitai River,
both from the bed and from the verandahs.
Decorated in blues, this is a very quiet, peaceful room.

On the same side of the house, the Beethoven
Room has two sets of French doors onto the
verandahs. It also has a wonderful view over the
river and down into the English gardens. This
queen/twin room has a queensize bed and a single
bed and has a private bathroom down the hall.
Bathrobes are provided.

Featuring a sunny bay window, this room gets the
morning sun and also has an ensuite bathroom.
Decorated in greens, it has a queen and a
single bed, perfect for people travelling together
but needing separate beds. This room is on the
street side, but has a lovely view up towards the
"Centre of New Zealand" (Botanical Hill).

Another delightful morning room, this queen with
ensuite is located towards the center of the house
and away from the river and the street.
Access on to verandahs is via a door on the
upstairs landing.
This room, also decorated in green tonings, exudes
character and charm.

Schubert is our only ground floor bedroom.
It has a queen bed, ensuite bathroom and features
a lovely sunny bay window with window seat.
Richly decorated in cream and burgundy, it has a
very soothing and peaceful effect on the weary traveller. As this room is on the ground floor it has
been adapted for guests requiring wheelchairs.
It has, in addition, a comfortable single bed, thus
sleeping three people.
